Reverend Larry Iannetti

Me 2013

Rev. Larry Iannetti was called as our settled Pastor by unanimous vote of the congregation on April 29, 2012.

Larry grew up in Central Mass. He has had a diverse professional career, having worked as a school psychologist, in a local special needs collaborative, and after attending seminary and being ordained in 1985, served churches in Shrewsbury, Worcester, and Leominster, MA.

During a hiatus from ministry in the 1990’s to 2010, he worked as a program director/supervisor in the substance abuse treatment field and later worked as a clinical consultant assessing clients with mental health related impairments.    In addition to a M.Div. degree in Pastoral Theology, he has a M.A./CAGS degree in School Psychology. As part of his journey, Larry traveled to Haiti on an exploratory mission trip in the early 1990’s and was there during the violent days of a coup d’état.  He also has served prison populations as part of series of special programs to bring the Good News to incarcerated men at the Worcester County of Correction.   During the period from 2003 to 2011 Larry provided Pulpit Supply in the Central Association of the United Church of Christ (UCC) during which time Larry was first introduced to our church. In 2012, he returned to full time ministry as our transitional Pastor leading up to our call to him to be our settled Pastor.

Our church welcomes Larry as our Pastor, and especially appreciates his ability to move us by his thought provoking sermons.   Please come and introduce yourself to Larry.
