WORSHIP

To become true stewards of our life and to gain a deeper insight into whom we are, it is helpful to have a sound foundation of belief in Creator God.  We are connected together in many ways; our humanity, our geography, our family, our achievements, our traditions, and our pursuits just to name a few.  It is in our worship, though, that we find the most profound expression of whom we are and where we belong.  I believe the impulse for authentic worship is deep within every person.  We are created in God’s image, and God’s spirit within us inspires us to open our hearts and give our self fully to God and to one another.  Worship is at the center of congregational life and everything we do as a congregation should blossom out of this center.  Christian worship is diverse because there are so many styles and diverse cultures of people within Christianity.  We are truly blessed to share our faith with so many and our prayer is that every person is able to express his or her heart to the Lord.  The reason we worship is to honor and draw near to our God.  The membership of the Federated Church of Ashland extends a warm and heartfelt invitation to you to join with us in worship.  We meet regularly on Sunday mornings at 9:30 for worship and Christian Education.  For more information, please call the church office or stop by during the week, and certainly know you are welcome on Sunday mornings.
