YOUTH GROUP NEWS
Have older kids? Please join us on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm for our biweekly youth group, open to ages 13 and up. This group focuses on the community with a basis on hands on service projects impacting Ashland and neighboring towns. Come help us serve!
Our Christian Education Program
Welcome!
Please join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. The children are dismissed for Sunday School during the service at approimately 10 am and attend Sunday School until 11 am.
Sunday School Lessons
Up to date curriculum features Bible stories from both the Old and New testaments, delivered to children in an easy to understand format. Bible stories will be taught by hands on lessons, skits using props, colorful illustrations, crafts and more!
The Bible story centers on a main theme for the unit and is followed by a related craft, game and snack every Sunday.
Nursery Care
Nursery care is available for children up to and including the age of 2 .5 years. The Nursery is fully equipped and attended by no less than two qualified adults.
Community Service
We here at the church focus on serving with projects such as cookies for cancer bake sales and electronic recycling days.
Family Field Trips
Events are planned throughout the year and are fun for the whole family to enjoy! Some favorites from the past included a trip to Canobie Lake Park, a snow tubing Adventure and a Mardi Gras themed party.
Yearly Pageants
The children participate in two pageants each year. The pageants are live, televised and broadcast on the local access channel. The Christmas pageant takes place in December and follows a loose script, which allows the children to improvise in our play. In June, the Children’s Sunday Pageant follows the format of an annual Talent Show where children are free to showcase their talents that God has given them.
Christian Education
Christian Education represents a significant portion of our efforts. Everyone from preschoolers through age 12 is welcomed and encouraged to attend classes that run on Sunday mornings. Further, adult education classes are periodically in progress. We hope that this information answers some of your questions and gives you some understanding of some of our Christian Education programs at our church.
